The original windows and doors were characterized by patterns and details customarily associated with the Queen Anne style. The shingle clad, gambrel style gables provide a hint of the Shingle style.

At least two-thirds of the original Queen Anne style windows have been replaced with aluminum units exhibiting modern configurations. In some cases the window opening size has been altered to suit the replacement window. The porch and entry stair railings have been replaced with a much simpler railing.
