King County Property Record Card (c. 1938-1972) Washington State Archives

This is a one-and-a-half story, clapboard and shingle clad, wood frame single-family residence on a  concrete foundation (textured and scored to resemble stone), over a half basement. The rectangular plan is capped by a gable roof with moderate overhangs and enclosed soffits. A hip roof across the front of the structure suggests a full width porch, though the porch actually occupies only the southwest corner of the house.

The windows and doors are characterized by patterns and details customarily associated with the Queen Anne style. The slender colonettes at the entry give the structure a slight free classic flavor.

This house was built in 1904  according to the King County Property Record Card and the King County GIS Center Property Report. According to the King County Property Record Card, the house was remodeled prior to 1937; however, the extent of the work undertaken and the date of the work is not indicated.

There appears to be a very small addition at the rear. The entry stair has been rebuilt and the railing detail altered. Approximately a third of the window openings have replacement aluminum sash.
