Welcome! Seattle City Light offers landlords, owners and agents (e.g. property or resident managers) the ability to open and close tenant accounts online.
This is a service that is available only to landlords, owners and agents (LOA) to request changes in occupancy online for electric accounts of properties they manage. In order to use this online LOA service, you are required to enroll.
After you have completed the enrollment process, an email will be sent with login information and next steps. Please allow three business days for processing.
Under the federal Fair and Accurate Credit Transaction Act, Seattle City Light is required to obtain proof of identification when a customer establishes a new account. In order to comply with this identity theft prevention program requirement, and as part of this application process, landlords and owner agents must sign a declaration that they will verify their tenant's identification prior to requesting changes in occupancy.
