The Seattle City Council is considering proposed legislation that would adopt new Neighborhood Design Guidelines for the Central Area and establish a Central Area Design Review District and Design Review Board. The proposed guidelines, together with adopted citywide design guidelines, would serve as the basis for design review of multi-family residential and commercial development projects in the Central Area neighborhood. Projects in the Central Area subject to full design review would be reviewed by the Central Area Design Review Board.
The City Council’s Planning, Land Use and Zoning (PLUZ) Committee will hold a public hearing to take comments on the proposed design review district and neighborhood design guidelines for the Central Area neighborhood on Wednesday, April 4, at 9:30 AM. The hearing will be held at:
