NOTICE OF A CITY COUNCIL PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED AMENDMENTS TO THE LAND USE CODE FOR SHORT-TERM RENTAL REGULATIONS AND BED AND BREAKFAST USES

Conditions:

The City Council is considering amendments to the Land Use Code (SMC Title 23) related to short-term rental uses and bed and breakfast uses. The proposed changes would: add a definition and standards for short-term rental uses; modify the definition and standards for bed and breakfast uses; and adds other definitions related to the new short-term rental and bed and breakfast standards.

 

PUBLIC HEARING

The City Council’s Planning, Land Use and Zoning Committee will hold a public hearing to take comments on the proposal during their meeting on Monday, November 27, 2017, starting at 5:00 p.m. The hearing will be held in the:  

City Council Chambers
2nd floor, Seattle City Hall
600 Fourth Avenue

For those who wish to testify, sign-up sheets will be available starting at 4:30 p.m. For more information on the hearing, please check the Planning, Land Use and Zoning Committee agenda a few days prior to the meeting at http://www.seattle.gov/council/committees.

Copies of the proposal are available from the City Clerk’s Office. The Clerk’s Office is located at 600 4th Avenue, Floor 3, in downtown Seattle and is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
