Conditions:

The City of Seattle Hearing Examiner is conducting a public hearing on the recommendation of the Director of the Seattle Department of Construction and Inspections (Seattle DCI) to rezone a property from NC2-40 to NC2-65 and from NC2P- 40 to NC2P-65. Project includes construction of a six story, 144 unit apartment building with 20,207 sq. ft. of ground floor retail space. Parking for 148 vehicles will be provided below grade. Review includes demolition of existing structures on site.

REZONE RECOMMENDATION

The Director’s recommendation is that the rezone be conditionally approved.

DESIGN REVIEW DECISION

 

The Director has CONDITIONALLY APPROVED Design Review.

 

ENVIRONMENTAL DETERMINATION

 

The Director of Seattle DCI has determined that the proposal will not have a significant adverse environmental impact, and has issued a Declaration of Non-Significance (no environmental impact statement required).

PUBLIC HEARING

 

A public hearing to take public comment on the Director’s recommendation and to establish the record for this application will be held at: 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at the Office of the Hearing Examiner (address below).  The Office of the Hearing Examiner provides barrier free access.

HOW TO APPEAL THE ENVIRONMENTAL DETERMINATION AND DESIGN REVIEW DECISION

 

Appeals of the decision to issue a Declaration of Non-Significance or to conditionally approve Design Review must be received by the Hearing Examiner at the address shown above no later than 5:00 p.m. on May 12, 2016. Appeals must be accompanied by $85.00 filing fee in a check payable to the City of Seattle. Any appeal of the decision will be heard at the public hearing on July 12, 2016.
