This cottage is a beautifully maintained derivation of the bungalow. Its form is similar to the type but it is devoid of detail and it lacks the organic lines that characterize a bungalow. This house provides an unaltered glimpse at modest vernacular housing of the 1920s. It has four over one double hung wood sash windows and a cottage door. The gabled roof porch is supported by simple posts resting on porch rails made of clapboard to match the house. The house and its setting contribute to the historic streetscape.
