King County Property Record Card (c. 1938-1972) Washington State Archives

This is a two story, clapboard clad, wood frame single-family residence on a concrete foundation, over a full basement. The rectangular plan is capped by a hip roof with extensive overhangs, open soffits, and exposed rafter tails.

The body of the house has a Prairie style flavor, however the exposed rafter tails and bracing at the entry porch are more suggestive of Craftsman work. The windows and doors are characterized by patterns and details customarily associated with the Craftsman style.

This house was built in 1905 according to the King County Property Record Card and the King County GIS Center Property Report.

Shutters have been added at the front facing windows. The front steps have been rebuilt and the stair sidewalls have been removed and replaced by open wood railings. Added gutters hide the exposed rafter tails
