King County GIS Center Property Report (; accessed August 18, 2008)

King County Property Record Card (c. 1938-1972) Washington State Archives

This house was built in 1891 according to the King County Property Record Card. The King County GIS Center Property Report indicates that the house was built in 1900, but is not able to record dates earlier that that year.

There is an addition at the back of the house, though this may have appeared at an early date. The original front porch is no longer extant and the original front door has been replaced by a window.
The entry appears to have been moved to the recessed side porch at the east (side) elevation. Aluminum windows have replaced the original wood windows at most of the window openings. The original siding was covered for a time by composition siding; however, the cladding appears to have been returned to its original appearance. The soffits at the roof overhangs may have recently been replaced.
