King County GIS Center Property Report (; accessed August 18, 2008)

King County Property Record Card (c. 1938-1972) Washington State Archives

This house was built in 1891 according to the King County Property Record Card; 1901 according to the King County GIS Center Property Report.

The King County Property Record Card suggests that a large addition was appended to the back (east) side of the structure at an early date.
Some windows have been replaced or modified. The shingle clad pyramidal roof that surmounted the tower in 1937 has been removed; the truncated tower now has a flat roof. The house is now clad with combed shingles rather than drop siding (as it was in 1937). Opening details have been altered to accommodate the replacement cladding.
