Summary for 6208 FLORA AVE / Parcel ID / Inv # 0

Historic Name: Unknown Common Name:
Style: Vernacular Neighborhood: Georgetown
Built By: Year Built:

Based on field work conducted in September 2014, this historic property retains its relationship to the streetscape, historic building form and a sufficient amount of exterior historic building fabric (design features, cladding and/or window sash/openings) to contribute to the distinct character of the Georgetown neighborhood.

This is an altered but relatively intact historic property that may possess some limited architectural and/or historic significance. Due to its construction date (age), design character and/or condition no historical research has been undertaken regarding this property.  This property exhibits some substantive changes to the exterior appearance since it was identified in the 1997 HRI project: new cladding materials and vinyl windows appears to have been installed.

Residential vernacular house with asphalt brick pattern cladding, gable roof, composition roofing, and poured concrete foundation. Tall narrow double-hung windows and a diamond window at the gable end. Enclosed hipped roof porch. Wide facia boards. Brick chimney at the roof peak center. Shed in back.
