Summary for 4758 2nd AVE / Parcel ID 8818400510 / Inv #

Historic Name: Common Name:
Style: Arts & Crafts - Craftsman, Queen Anne - Stick Neighborhood: Wallingford
Built By: Year Built: 1910
This house was built 1909-1910 by owner J. Bolin (943 24th) who also designed the structure according to the building permit. A chicken house was added to the property in 1911 by a different owner, L. Wright, suggesting that Bolin was a developer or merchant builder. It is not known if the chicken house is still extant. Nyberg and Steinbrueck identified this house as a structure significant to the community.
This structure is essentially a craftsman bungalow but displays several characteristics also associated with late Queen Anne and Stick style residential architecture. The entry stair, porch and corner entry appear to have been modified. Some windows appear to have been replaced. The house was being refurbished when the structure was surveyed in 2004.
