King County has approval from the State Department of Health to allow all private construction activities that are low-risk and adhere to strict COVID 19 Job site Requirements. The City of Seattle has issued requirements for construction projects seeking inspections. The City WILL NOT INSPECT any site that does not follow these requirements.
Summary: Washington state law allows adjustments of boundary lines if certain conditions are met. Applications for lot boundary adjustments in Seattle are filed by appointment with the Department of Planning and Development (DPD). Lot boundary adjustments must satisfy public concerns of health, safety and welfare as detailed in Seattle's Land Use Code (Chapter 23.28 of the Seattle Municipal Code or SMC).
