SDCI Closures, Service Updates, and Inspection Requirements

SDCI customer service areas remain closed until further notice and continue offering services online. King County has approval from the State Department of Health to allow all private construction activities that are low-risk and adhere to strict COVID 19 Job site Requirements. The City of Seattle has issued requirements for construction projects seeking inspections. The City WILL NOT INSPECT any site that does not follow these requirements.


Summary: This Tip summarizes the application requirements for an Administrative Conditional Use permit based upon specific criteria as set out in the Land Use Code (provisions of Subtitle IV, parts 2 and 3 of Title 23 of the Seattle Municipal Code). Applications for an Administrative Conditional Use permit are authorized according to the procedures for Master Use Permits and Council Land Use Actions as described in chapter 23.76 of the Land Use Code.
